The Golf Club at Fox Acres Tee Times
At 8,300 feet in Red Feather Lakes, Fox Acres plays shorter than the card suggests — the thin mountain air adds real carry to every club. The 18-hole, par-71 layout offers nine tee combinations, from 6,447 yards at a 139 slope down to 3,683 yards at 108, so a scratch player and a beginner can genuinely play the same round together. That back-tee slope tells you the course asks for placement, and 50 sand traps are a big part of why. Practice is covered with a driving range and a practice bunker, and there's a pro shop, lessons, club rental and a restaurant on site.
