Grandote Peaks Golf Club Tee Times
Grandote Peaks sits on Highway 12 just outside La Veta, an 18-hole regulation par 72 with four sets of tees that genuinely play differently. From the Black at 6,907 yards the course gets serious — a 135 slope and 71.6 rating mean low handicaps will have plenty to work with. The Blue at 6,521 is the sensible choice for most decent players, while the White at 6,223 keeps the scorecard reasonable. The Red tees measure 5,569 with a 107 slope, forgiving enough for higher handicaps and newer players to move along without losing balls all afternoon. Worth the drive into the Cuchara Valley if you want a full-length layout away from the Front Range crowds.
